Velvet worms are top-tier cuties. Absolute bahoonies. Just simple lil-guys. (Aside from the fact that they shoot glue-like substance to incopacitate insects they eat). Their scientific name is Onychophora. They belong to a phylum/genus of their own, making them an exclusive species, their name is a term that translates to ‘claw-bearers’. They are panarthropods that hunt invertebrates.
